Why Do I BLOG or TWEET???

Many a times I ask myself this question and then just brush it aside thinking its not important enough and choose to ponder on something more meaningful like What is the purpose of my life? Ha Ha Ha!! Cliché!!
But the question is stubborn. Keeps popping up every time I update my status on facebook or turn to tweet about something as mundane as what I ate for breakfast today.
Why do I blog?
My mother often recalls that as a child I would not even put down the school bag until I had spoken out all the stories from the day at school. She says, I wouldn’t breathe, blink my eyes or let her gaze move away from mine until I was finished.
That’s me the story teller.! I grew up but did not change, just the stories did and slowly the audience too
After I married Akash, I lost my enthusiastic audience in my mother and failed miserably in many attempts to keep the dreamy Piscean eyes interested in my little tales
Thus in search for a receptive and interested audience, I started to blog.
Why do I tweet anything?
For the sheer power of telling, sharing and recording permanently an event, a mood, an idea… To keep my little stories alive for eternity on the internet, so that even after I am gone, an interested audience would be able to scroll down my timeline to know exactly of every happening in my life; sometimes precisely cut and carved into a sculpture of 140 characters.
Little did I know that I would grow up into someone creating a story every moment. Being a follower of H.H. Sri Sri Ravishankar, an Art of living teacher, a yogic lifestyle coach, a seeker, a student, a vegetarian, a philosopher, a crazy traveller, a wife, a friend, a daughter and above all a Woman… my life is full of stories and I love to share them… spell them out loud!! For one day I will be gone but my stories will stay:-)
From my EVERY first step, packing, unpacking and packing again, the promotions of my courses, the pictures from freezing Siberia and scenic Bali, smiling faces, praises and compliments, appreciations and admonitions, the love and joy I shared, every time I was alone or in company, every moment of strength or despair…. So on!! I am able to share everything.
So why do I blog or tweet??
Because I am a story teller.
